I have been painting for several years and I largely take my inspiration from nature and the environment around me. Ireland has such diversity of natural features from woodlands, rolling hills, hidden valleys, historical sites, beaches with rugged coasts, and many large estate gardens. Having a great love of nature allows me to have a greater appreciation and understanding for some of the smaller delights around me and the local environment that is close to home.
