Abstract
I now and again venture into doing some abstract paintings. They were created in the studio from sketches, photo's taking on location or still life set up in the studio. All my paintings are original in content and while I might paint in the same area, no painting is the same as the seasons, atmosphere and the light changes.

Project
I took part in a project to create a contemporary art piece in response
to One of Two selected artists Frances Bacon’s and Taffina Flood
The piece was not to be a copy but an interpretation of their practice and themes.
Performance By Lily O’Rourke
My interest was in Bacon and I noticed that his work was presented
within geometric shapes. I observed his work and it appeared to be
based on performance, a central figure within geometric shapes
performing some activity. I also considered his life and how he
entertained and was centre of interest.
